Mackinaw City Magical Color Fun Run

Begins at 9:00AM

This is the 3rd Annual Mackinaw City Magical Color Fun Run or walk. Join the fun with Northern Michigan’s most colorful & magical 5K event. Held in Mackinaw City on May 7th 2016, bring all your friends and family to run a colorful with eco friendly, plant based cornstarch dye every kilometer.

Zoo-De-Mackinac Annual Event

This event is not a race, but a collection of outdoor enthusiasts who join together each year to take part in a 51 mile long ride that begins at Boyne Highlands and ends in Mackinaw City. Once there, participants hope on the Star Line Ferry and ride over to Mackinac Island for entertainment, food and drinks.

Native American Festival

Join us in May for the Native American Annual Festival. This event takes place at the Museum of Ojibwa Culture located at 500 N. State Street. Guests can enjoy 2 days of Native American Culture, language, music and history. Learn about the incredible history of St Ignace, the region's Native Americans and Father Marquette. There will be a grand entry parade, dancing, drum performances, along with authentic goods for sale. We look forward to seeing you there.

Memorial Day Parade and Fireworks

Join in the fun here at Mackinaw City and watch our parade from Huron Avenue to Central Avenue and then Nicolet Street. At dusk spectators can enjoy our huge fireworks display at Conkling Heritage Park on South Huron Avenue.

Memorial Weekend Pageant and Fireworks

The greatest time to visit Mackinaw City and Historical Fort Michilimackinac is during the Memorial Weekend where spectators can watch the FREE historical pageant of the events that took place between the French, British and Native Americans on June 2nd, 1763. This is the longest running pageant of its kind in the Nation where over 400 participants take part in the event. Pageant Schedule:

Run across the Mackinac Bridge along with other outdoor enthusiasts and participate in this great annual healthy event.
